Method 1. Remove the stickers with boiled water

The first step is the most basic and simple of all. Besides helping you to remove the sticker, it will sterilize the glass and leave it ready for a next use.
In a deep pot, bring water to a boil. Remember to add the amount of water needed to cover the glass jars.
When it starts boiling, start inserting each of the glass jars.
Lower the flame a little, to calm the bubbling of the water, but keep it boiling.
Leave the glass jars for about 30 minutes.
After this, with the help of tweezers and kitchen gloves, take out the jars and let them cool on a kitchen cloth.
This process will often be sufficient to remove any stickers and traces of glue.
However, in some cases this is not the case. Let’s take a look at some complementary methods that will help you to remove traces of glue and stickers from glass jars.
Method 2. White vinegar

What do you need?
- Deep Container
- White vinegar
- Dishwasher
- Water
Add hot water to the container. You must completely cover the glass jars you wish to clean.
We incorporated a few drops of dishwasher. We remove with the help of a cutlery to avoid burns.
Add a good splash of vinegar. The acid of the vinegar will help to remove the glue.
We introduce the glass jars without a lid so that they sink.
After 30 minutes, we take the cans out of the water. If necessary, we scrub with a rough sponge.
Rinse the jar thoroughly and it will be ready for use.
Method 3. Baking soda

- Water
We fill the container with hot water.
We poured ½ cup of baking soda. With the help of a cutlery, stir the water to help the bicarbonate dissolve.
We put the glass jars uncovered to keep them at the bottom.
After 30 minutes, the glue must have given way. With the help of a rough sponge, we can carve the jar to help remove any glue stuck to the glass.
Once the process is complete, completely rinse the glass jar before using it again.

Rub the resulting paste onto the glue and the label pieces left on the surface of the glass jar.
After 10 to 30 minutes, the oil will have done its job of impregnating each trace of label or glue.
With the rough sponge, rub the jar to help remove everything.
Method 5. Nail polish remover to remove stickers from glass jars

What do you need?
- Nail polish remover or acetone
- Cloth, paper towel or sponge
